Benjamin Cox-Smith is an established and respected flamenco and fingerstyle guitarist and musician based in Brighton, UK with over 15 years teaching experience and 20+ years experience performing both as a solo artist and in a plethora of flamenco, folk, blues and ragtime groups.

After spending his 20s studying the fingerstyle, slide and ragtime guitar masters, Benjamin went on to extensively study the art of flamenco guitar with a wide range of maestros in both the UK and Spain, as well as taking courses in the famous Carmen de las Cuevas flamenco school in Granada, the Academia Flamenca de José Ignacio Franco in Jeréz and masterclases with the incredible Dani De Morón and Paco Serrano. Ben currently performs as a solo artist and with singers and dancers, as well as with one of the UK's leading flamenco troupes, The Daniel Martinez Flamenco Company.

As well as  performing at private and public functions and studio session work, Benjamin also offers online tuition UK and worldwide in flamenco, fingerstyle, ragtime, folk, music theory, accompaniment, slide and dobro (lapslide) through Skype/Zoom as well as face to face classes Brighton and Sussex, UK.
